12 weeks!!

Hello there. Sorry I have been a slacker and haven't posted much lately. We have just been so busy. Last week Teagen took her first trip to Wisconsin for her counsin Gretchen's wedding she got to meet her Great Grandparent's, her two aunt's Myjken and Candice, great Aunt's and Uncle's and many cousins. She was a great little traveller, thank god we weren't the ones on the plane with a crying baby!!! And we had so much fun.

Teagen is 12 weeks today and getting so big. Each day she is changing and starting to do things that just shock us. Like just this week she started to roll over from her back to her tummy. It's so fun to watch. She is now 12lb 4oz and is 24 inches long. Big girl. Enjoy the pictures!! XOXOX.

Professional Pictures!

Hello

Sorry I guess I have fallen behind on my postings these last few weeks. It's just been so busy and we are working into our new routine. I think we have got it down now. Well Teagen is just about 9 1/2 weeks old, she is getting so big. About a week and a half ago we went for her 8 week check up and she was 10 lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long. Poor baby had to get 5 shots which broke my heart but she was a little trooper and was all smiles when we got home.

This past weekend we went to Jcpenny's and got her first professional picture's done. At first she did great but then they wanted to get her down to her diaper and she hated that.

We are super excited for this coming weekend we have a birthday party to go to and Teagen's first Easter. Just can't wait. We will post pictures next week of Easter. Love to all.

A few more Picture

Back to work!

Well it's Sunday morning and I am just sitting her with my cup of coffee thinking of everything I need to get done before I head back to work tomorrow. And looking at Teagen sleeping in her bouncer and knowing how much I will miss her. At least I only have to do three days this week. To ease back into it and then four days after that so more time with Teagen.

We did enjoy our weekend together. Zach had to work yesterday so Teagen and I ventured downtown to meet up with my friend Lori and her family for the second biggest parade in the nation. Denver's St. Patrick Day Parade, it was so much fun. Teagen enjoyed seeing all the Irish and non-Irish people celebrating. We also road the Lightrail down so Teagen experienced her first Lightrail trip. (She slept both ways!!) Teagen also has started to find her hands more this past week. We thought that she maybe teething early but then after watching her closer realized she was searching got her THUMB!! Oh no we have a wanna be thumb sucker!!! So we have been trying to give her the nuk more and pull that little thumb away. Last night we celebrated Grandpa Shaffer's birthday ( HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD.) Teagen enjoyed that seeing her Grandparents and her Auntie's and Uncle. Other than that we are just getting ready for this week. We will keep you updated on the new adventure of working!! Hugs and Kisses.

One month

Well it's official Teagen is one month today. Wow how the time as gone so fast, it's been so amazing. She has changed so much I can't believe it. She has started to coo and smile and even laugh (it's becoming harder each day to know I will sooner or later have to return to work!!) But in the mean time I will just enjoy being home with her. Her one month stats are.........9lbs 5oz, 23 inches long. WOW big girl.

We have been venturing out a lot going to Grandparents houses and the store. It's been fun. Teagen is a great little helper around the house helping with dishes and laundry. I don't know what I would do without her. Well enjoy the new picture. Hugs and Kisses.

3 weeks and 2 days!

Sorry it's been a little while. We have had a busy week. Last week was great, Teagen had her first bath at home!! She wasn't too big of a fan (pic attached.) She also got to meet her Great Grandad so that was fun (pic attached). Daddy gave her her first bottle. (pic attached) Also Zach and I went out for the first time without the little one. Grandpa and Aya watched Teagen for us so we could enjoy some sushi. And can I say I have really missed sushi.

Sadly, Zach had to go back to work this past Monday, so Teagen and I have been on our own the last few days. It's been fun just the girls. Today we went to Aya's (Lisa) work and got weighed (who knew they weigh cats on the same scales as babies.) Little Teagen is now a whopping 9 lbs 2 oz. Getting big!! Enjoy the pics. XOXOXO

Two weeks old

Tomorrow our little Teagen is going to be two weeks old. We had a fun week with Grandma Patti and Bubba who came to visit. Teagen had her first Costco experience and Jack and Grill experience. She was awesome. Then on Friday night we went and visited Grandpa Lenny and Aya at their house. So needless to say Teagen is getting out and about. She is a great little traveler and loves the car (great way to get her asleep.)

Tomorrow we are venturing out again to Aunt Angela and Uncle Andrew's house for our first Superbowl party!!! Go COLTS. We will post some pictures of our party later. Enjoy the pics.

First Week

Well we have started to settle into our new lives with Teagen and figuring out how this parenting thing works. Teagen is getting bigger and more alert every day. We went to the doctor again yesterday to make sure she was gaining weight. And she went from 7 lbs 10 oz to 8 lbs 1 oz in four days!! So needless to say the doctor was very happy with that. We don't have to go back for two months!!

Zach and I are enjoying our time together and being with Teagen. Zach works for a great company that allows him to have three weeks off, so it nice to have the extra hands around. It's so amazing how having your own child makes you feel and what joy you get from it. I really could not imagine our lives with out her now. Enjoy the pics.
